No staff in the hotel, cafe open 7 -16 and a vending machine, rooms were nice if you are travelling alone, good service over mail was provided.

I am usually not very demanding, but this was not what I expected it would be. The hospital as nearest neighbor, no cleaning, really small - and a "fully equipped" kitchen with no oven. Didn't like the bed either. Nice people in the café, but that is not enough for booking this place again.

Charging electric car CRAZY expensive

Charging your electric car just outside the apartments are crazy expensive. The overnight charging, from 23:12 in the evening until 09:08 in the morning, cost almost as much as I paid for the room! The EasyPark app did not give an estimate price. Would have been nice if Wilhelmsen house Apartments could give their customers a warning that this parking is SO expensive :-(

Historic house

Interesting historic house, once a nurses home as it’s opposite a hospital! No reception, access via a door code sent to you by SMS on day of arrival. Except mine did not arrive. Had to work out who to phone (security guy) then was told room wasn’t ready. All a bit of a nuisance as we were tired after a long journey. But having spoken to the staff, ten mins later my code arrived. Total delay 20 mins. However, room was fine though very small, with useful kitchenette. All very clean and quiet too. There’s a small cafe to buy breakfast. Easy location for walking into town and down to harbour.

Das Wilhelmsens House Hotel wird abgesehen vom Gastronomiebereich Personallos geführt. Zum Zeitpunkt des Check Inn bekommt man Zimmernummer und Code per SMS mitgeteilt. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber, komfortabel eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das man im Hotel aber keinen Ansprechpartner hat, fanden wir trotzdem komisch. Wir hatten eine Mini Küche in unserem Zimmer, das war sehr praktisch, die Abfälle aus der Küche sollten wir laut Aushang aber selber in den Mülltonnen hinter dem Hotel entsorgen. Das Frühstücksbuffet am nächsten Morgen war OK, für den Preis des Hotels aber bestenfalls durchschnittlich. In anderen norwegischen Hotels haben wir für weniger Geld deutlich umfangreichere Frühstücksbuffets bekommen. Zu erwähnen ist noch, dass der Parkplatz direkt am Hotel selbst für Norwegen sehr teuer ist. Wir haben nebenan im Parkhaus des Krankenhauses geparkt, das war deutlich günstiger.

Fint hotell som varit tidigare sjuksköterske bostäder! Små rum bra frukos och fin ren miljö och underbara sängar ! Vill dock varna för att deras gästparkering är svindyr och opereras av externt p bolag ! En natt på parkeringen kostade 1/3 av rummets pris ! Hotellet borde irdna så gästen kan parkera sin bil utan letande och dyra extrakostnader ! Skärpning krävs
