It is hidden among the gentle hills of Haspengouw, where the seasons can still be felt and the rhythm of nature is central. In spring, you walk among orchards full of blossom, enjoy vast grain fields in summer, and savour the scent of falling leaves in autumn.

Lauw is a small, charming village where silence and hospitality reign. Thanks to the extensive network of cycling and hiking routes leading past chapels, hollow roads, vineyards, and picturesque views, cyclists and hikers will get their money's worth here.

Just a few kilometres away is Tongeren, Belgium's oldest city. Here, history comes alive among Roman walls, antique markets, and cosy squares. You will also find delicious restaurants, boutiques, and museums like the Gallo-Roman Museum.

Nature and wine lovers are also well catered for: the nearby wineries, fruit farms, and nature reserves such as the Kevie or the Altenbroek nature reserve are all gems waiting to be discovered.
