The room itse;f was fine, neatly cleaned and easy to use facilities. The issue was that the lights on the headboard didn't turn off, as the switches that control them were broken. I tried to call the front desk but the room phone didn't work either. I went to the front desk and was told that there was nothing they could do since the maintenance team wasn't there that night. They said they don't move guests rooms, and the best they could do was give me a single sheet to put over the lights. the headbaord was mounted to the wall, so the sheet couldn't be tuck in or really effectively cover the lights. the sheet only reached across one side of the bed and fell repeatedly, leaving me covered in dust, and still having to sleep with the lights on.

We were in bed when a man opened our door. Fortunately we had the latch on and it stopped the door. We called the desk and she admitted giving someone else a card to our room!! No sleeping after that, so the next morning we requested a refund from the GM, Valerie Weber. She brushed it off as no big deal and said four times that “people make mistakes” and that her staff has done this before. Stated that if they would have just looked they could have seen the room was already occupied. Also said she couldn’t do anything to refund us because we used Hotels.com. (Not true - she could have contacted them). So WE had to contact them and she agreed to a $50 refund. Two peoples’ ruined night sleep when traveling the next day is worth $50? This is a safety issue pure and simple. I recommend finding a different hotel that values customers’ safety and their feedback.

Bathroom mirror fell off the wall and smashed on the floor. Staff tried to clean it up with a broom and box, but the bathroom and shower were unusable due to remaining glass shards. Explained to the desk shouldn't have to pay for the room, they spoke to the general manager and the request for a refund was denied!!! This condition was dangerous and could have caused grave harm if a child had been there when the mirror fell. The condition is likely present in more rooms. I need a call from a member of management to discuss. Thank you.

Not a good place to stay.

Not so good. Housekeeping was terrible. I stayed for a month at this hotel. Housekeeping was never done daily. Once every two weeks. Had to call the front desk and argue about getting housekeeping done daily. They said they could not do it but once a week. Still they didnt do it once a week. Trash was overflowing. Understaff. No fresh towels daily. Bed sheets were done once a week.
