Located in a castle, or fortress, and located next to the (6) escalators to bring you to the upper old city of Toledo. Old section is a bit limited for amenities (unless you like antiquities) but the new one is awesome.

We had four days at the beginning of June, this was our first visit to Toledo. we stayed in the new section of the hotel. The bedroom was lovely, the building is historic and beautifully decorated, breakfast was typical continental, but plentiful. Really loved the gardens and outdoor seating, well placed for walking within the historic part of the city. We walked to the train station on leaving, 20 mins easy walk downhill. If we go back would definitely stay here again!

Very lively setting, great breakfast, friendly staff. The only odd thing was the no-door, no-wall bathroom and shower. It's possible that not all rooms are like that, but you may want to ask if your party expects more privacy.
