The home was located in a relatively quiet area of Takadanobaba, and an easy 10 minute walk from the station. As many others have mentioned, there is very little in the way of cooking/food prep equipment (only 1 pan, no pots, no rice steamer) so be prepared for that. I found the communication with the owner to be fine, but there was no typical check in/check out instructions, manual for the home, or advice as to how to leave the facility. That was fine of course, but for some it may be a bit difficult to ensure you are leaving as required. The photos do make it look larger than it is. But saying that, it was very comfortable for a family of 4. We loved the area we stayed as it gave us good access to the surrounding areas of Tokyo.

If you’re with friends I would recommend for a group of 4. We had 6 people and 3 slept on a futon. The place was clean but some areas had film on the walls. About a 14 minute walk to nearest station.

Just got back from my trip. The VRBO was a short 11 minute walk to the station. In addition, there were a ton of restaurants on the way to the station so that was also nice. Stairs are steep so be careful. I wish we had larger towels. However, overall I would rate my stay 5 stars because all of my needs were met and check in and check out were very easy. I would book this VRBO again.

Clean home and roomy enough for 6 adults, but definitely not the ten it claims. Had three full/queen size beds amd two twin futons. Unless leaving a futon in each room, there really was only space for one futon on the living room floor. The location was great. Close to food, shops and about a 7 min walk to train station. Not.much in the kitchen in the way of dishes and no condiments like salt/pepper, etc. So be prepared to buy some. Overall we had a nice stay, but my elderly parents had some difficulty getting to secomd floor kitchen/living room and making the walk to and from the train station.

The apartment was sufficient for needs and the host allowed us to leave our bags early for sightseeing which is appreciated. It is 12 to 15 minutes from the stop not 5 minutes. There is very few kitchen implements if you want to cook/eat. The house is not the cleanest and there is little to no extra touches for ambience or comfort.

We had a great stay at this property. Location was nice and close to the action, but far enough away for peace and quiet for sleeping. The house had everything we needed.
