The hotel was just a few minutes walk to Ueno station. Its also close to convenience stores. Staff we're very helpful. Room clean except for stains on the walls. Bathroom was very clean. I recommend this hotel.

An affordable and convenient place to stay in Tokyo. If you took the Keisei skyliner, you arrive at Ueno, a good base for going around downtown. It was a comfortable and quiet stay and the staff were friendly.

I stayed here on my fourth trip to Japan and it was probably the worst hotel I’ve ever booked. It is really close to Ueno station, but that’s the only perk. The rooms were dingy and needed updating, the bed and bedding was terrible, and we had no water pressure. It took 35 minutes to fill the bathtub. There was also only one channel available on TV. This room was also very cramped. Most Japanese hotel rooms are small, but this was particularly bad. Skip this one and spend a little more to stay somewhere else in Ueno or Okachimachi.

After checking in and given the keys Inwas told I had to walk out the entrance and go to another building where my room was, weird but okay. Other than that my room was nice and clean. Location isn’t good and there’s really nothing around the hotel. Catching a taxi there from Haneda airport was pretty expensive. All in all I would stay here if I planned on not doing anything but stay in my room.
