I've stayed in much cleaner rooms for less money in Tokyo unfortunately. The room had a lot of marks on the wall and a musty smell.The staff was very nice. The location was great, especially with the Family Mart so close. Many of the restaurants don't open until later in the day, in case you're an early bird.

Very convenient location and in the middle of the heart of Shinjuku. Great place that gets the job done if you are looking for somewhere to stay with a clean room and all amenities you need. Biggest plus is being near literally everything you need during your trip. Room is small so be prepared but that is what you should expect for most average hotels in the shinjuku area for a reasonable price point.
