Easy walkable distance to Tokyo Station, excellent for those needing to catch Shinkansen. Convenient location and mainly 1 stop to Ginza and other areas of interest. Great amenities and nice staff. Small size room but ok for 1 person and expected for central Tokyo.

I chose this hotel because it is so close to Tokyo Station and it was reasonably priced. I know that Tokyo hotel rooms are small, but this was by far the smallest I have stayed in. I mean, the sink and the bathroom tub are the same tap (you just swing it.) But the tub was deep, the water pressure was good and the place was clean - even if it needs a bit of a re-fit. Be sure to take a soft pillow from the "pillow library" because the one on the bed is basically solid. A bit quirky, but as a solo traveller I made it work for the one night I was there. There was a spa but I did not use it. Staff was incredibly nice. My view was of 30 industrial fans - but again, you don't pick this place for the view.

I couldn't figure out the lights for a bit, but this gives you an idea of the size of the room. I did not us the TV.

Excellent location, walking distance to the Tsukiji market and Imperial garden/palace. The hotel feels upscale - it smells nice and is very clean and efficient. The onsen is very nice. The buffet breakfast was nice but cost extra. The only drawback is that the room was very tiny - only big enough to fit the bed and a small desk, barely enough room for our suitcases.

We stayed here because it was close to the main Tokyo Train station and we had a morning trip on the Bullet train. We had flown into Narita, took the express train to the station and stayed there the night. For those more adventurous than us, they do offer the full Japanese bath options, separate men's and women's. We didn't do it as we were on a tight schedule (and are cowedly North Americans). If you want to do it and are curious read about it BEFORE you do it. Like many things in Japan there are rituals and rules you need to ascribe to.
