First time staying at a capsule hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great. About a 3 min walk to the shin-Okubo station. Great restaurants around too! My only complaint would be the showers. The showers could have maybe used a bit more cleaning but considering it’s a common place for all the women to use, it wasn’t bad. I would recommend bringing shower shoes. Overall great spot for your moneys worth!
Great ammenities, great staff, immediate spots and konbinis as soon as you leave the building, amazing views for pictures, and none of the noise from outside reaches the rooms.
Pros: clean facility with a nice common area and amenities for hanging out. Great showers with good water pressure.
Cons: bedding looked dirty under the cover sheet, mattress not comfortable, below average pillows, only one plugin in cabin, occasionally rude people at service desk.
Good if you are low on funds and need a place to crash, but I left feeling meh after a 2 day stay.
Great location. this is great for those who like K pop. Limited Japanese food options in that area.
The lounge was very comfortable and complementary coffee drink bar was a nice touch.
Capsule bed was great. no issues.
Those who would like more air circulation in their capsule bed, i recommend bringing a hand held fan to supplement. The common capsule area did not smell of sweat, I had poor experience else where.
Good security feature for leaving the key with the front desk and forcing you to travel up to the top floor to reception first before going back down to your floor. The security is worth your inconvenience. Just dont forget anything, or you will be like me going up and down too many times.
overall, would come back and recommend this place. Great value.
Capsules themselves are decent, though the mattress is very thin. Great location, good price, the lockers are pretty large which was appreciated as well. Cafe was a nice place to get some rest as needed.
1. I got into the hotel like 2 hours before check-in. They did not allow me to sit on a chair to wait and I was exhausted from my flight. They said they will open the lounge in 30 mins. No empathy!
2. The shower is okay. Very incovenient to lock and unlock the luggage from the locker. Inconvenient to use oublic shower.
3. The breakfast is a joke. It is a frozen rice with some beef, mostly fat. I threw it away. This is my 3rd time in Japan and this is the worst I have ever experienced. So, I check out the following day. I guess, capsules are meant for people who does not want to spend money for comfort. This is an interesting experience for me. Unfortunately, it didn't work out.
