The room we stayed in was clean and amenities were adequate. The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. The luggage storage and 24 hour reception was so helpful. This accommodation was very central, was easy to find, easy to get to and from with trains. It’s within walking distance to Shinjuku station and other train stations, which made it very easy to travel to many different locations within and around Tokyo. Can be a bit loud at night due to its centrality as expected, but sleeping with ear plugs does help. Many convenience stores around as well. Highly recommend!

Was able to book hotel right away at a great price after my other hotel cancelled on me. Double bed room size was pretty reasonable for me and my partner considering we’ve stayed in smaller rooms. Great walking distance to everything, including to Shinjuku station. I accidentally left my souvenir bag in the room when I was in a rush and the hotel found it and was able to get it delivered back to me in Canada. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

This place is in a great centralised location and provided all we needed, which was to simply lodge and freshen up. The staff was great. While the rooms are a bit small, which of course is the case everywhere, it provided all we needed.

The facility is the heart and soul of Shinjuku; area has multiple dining options; several convenient stores within reach; right beside is a hospital (in case of emergency); most importantly, walking distance to the metro lines (a 10 minute leisure pace walk). We stayed there for 8 nights, our initial reaction of the room was on the smaller side; however, after the second night we adjusted to its size. Facility was clean, we felt safe the entire time, house keeping always had water and fresh towels coming. WOULD DEFINITELY STAY THERE AGAIN.

I thought I was getting a twin room. It was a very, very small room with a small twin bed. My partner and I had to stay elsewhere as it was impossible for two to sleep in such a small bed. It was my mistake, but a warning- it is extremely small. I paid for two weeks and never used the room.

I would warn about the cleaniness of the bidets at this property. When I checked in, I noticed a smell coming from the toilet area. It smelled like poop but I couldn't see any sign of it so I pushed some buttons on the bidet panel and the nozzle came out and I couldn't believe what I saw. Poop was caked onto the nozzle and never cleaned. It took me several tries to clean it and then I proceeded to disinfect the room with lysol wipes. I reported this to the hotel and they said sorry. I warned my friends to not use their bidet until their nozzle was checked. Sure enough, theirs was covered with dried poop but not as bad as mine but they did not report it to the hotel. The other weird thing that happened was that I was charged 800 yen (100 yen per night) for the tourist tax - no problem with that but my friends got charged 200 yen and my other friends did not get charged anything. Is this a tax that only targets certain people?? I remained grossed out for the rest of my stay but had to deal with it. So just be sure to make sure everything is clean when you get into the room.

The room was too hot, no way to resolve and not individual cont. Staff did try by giving me a fan to use, however, that did not resolve, it only gave a little relief but was noisy so therefore no good sleep. Room remained hot because of the central heating. Tokyo (Shinjuku) was hot/warm during the period of my stay yet heat was turned on. Made for very uncomfortable stay. Website says they have Air Conditioning ... not true... they should state that the heat is on even thought the weather might not warrant the need for heat. Room was extremely small, even for Tokyo standards. I could not even open my carry on and checked luggage at the same time, not enough space. there was no space to hang up clothes or to put things on after coming back from shopping. Things had to be put on the bed or the floor. Bathroom on a regular smelled odd, not pleasant. Clean up of rooms was efficient. Front desk - some staff could not speak English and would make assumptions rather than try to clarify requests. Other staff were good English speakers. Location of the Hotel was a little scary... the walk from Shinjuku station to the Hotels was short but needed to walkthrough the red light district. In addition, it was off putting each evening when a police car would patrol the street and blast out a message in Japanese but as a no Japanese speaker did not understand so it was scary not knowing what was going on. Laundry facilities was good under 800 Yen for a full load.
