Area is very convenient, close to a lot of shops and transportation. Can be a little noisy as the area is busy and close to a hospital. Rooms are quite small - but to be expected. Breakfast buffet was very delicious!

Hotel needs to be transparent in hotel tax rates, certain days the rate was more than 100 yen. Early check in rate should be mentioned on website. Wc had a stinky smell. Toilet looks clean from above, but when I looked down, there were stains. Lack of amenities, no shower cap and umbrellas. The single room was already small and the tiny desk had too much hotel info, I tossed them aside. All reception staff should be able to speak English.

Small but decent. Skip the breakfast

Overall this is a decent place to stay in Shinjuko. Like with much of Tokyo the room is very tiny, we had a double and it was very tight. The bathroom is similar in size to a bathroom on a cruise ship. Breakfast was nothing special. Mostly the same options everyday and most things were bland. I would not have selected the breakfast option. There is a 7-11 steps away from the hotel that had cheaper, more flavorful options.

Good location, clean room. Lots of restaurants close by and easy access to subway stations. Laundry coin washer / dryer available for use which is very convenient when it’s hot and humid and you need your clothes cleaned constantly.

We stayed here for 10 nights for our first trip ever to Japan and we LOVED this hotel. The staff were all extremely polite and kind, and made us feel very welcomed. The location of this hotel is perfect, it’s close by to both Shinjuku station and Shin-Okubo station, and is right beside Kabukicho so it is always lively at night. Although the area itself is more loud, the hotel room itself was quiet and comfy and the street it is located on is not extremely busy compared to the main centre a 5 minute walk away. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room itself was very cozy. There are vending machines and microwaves throughout the floors of the hotel and a laundry room as well which is super appreciated. The closest 7/11 is also a 30 second walk from the hotel which is very convenient. I have no complaints, we loved this hotel and would definitely come back again on our next trip to Japan!

Even though the surroundings around the hotel might get busy and crowded at night, we had a good sleep time. The bathroom and the room was very tidy and clean. Just bear in mind is a very compact space so for big guys probably it won't work. Kudos to the front desk staff, very friendly and helpful. They even use a translator to facilitate any language barrier.

The best thing I liked was that they served breakfast with your stay. It was great food with lots of variety of food choices with healthy options. I would stay there again for the breakfast. The location was also good, you can walk to a lot of places. The room was a little small but I got used to it.
