We loved our stay at the Kimpton! Such a great location, friendly staff, nice and clean hotel with awesome concierge (every restaurant rec was superb). It’s also very well located and an easy walk to Shinjuku station- or honestly anywhere else if you’re walkers like us! The daily social hour is so cute and we enjoyed some nice wine our first night. However the best part of the stay was meeting Iwayan downstairs at The Jones coffee bar. He greeted us warmly every morning and treated us to a free coffee/matcha off the list for hotel guests (this is a perk we didn’t know about). We loved seeing our friend each morning!! Thank you Iwayan!!

really got the New York feel from this place and we're from nyc so that really made us feel good. Tokyo is very overwhelming so it's nice to have a place like Kimpton to come home to after a long day. Would highly recommend.

The staff were unpleasant; even the hotel manager didn't say a word to welcome us or say goodbye. Unbelievable! The service was minimal; even a simple request was refused. I will never set foot in this hotel again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
