Excellent Location, Great Service, and Very Convenient Stay. This was my first time staying at a JR series hotel, and JR東日本ホテルメッツ プレミア 五反田 truly left a great impression. The location is outstanding—right on top of both the JR and Metro stations—making it incredibly easy to get around Tokyo. The surrounding area feels safe, and the hotel itself is clean and well‑maintained. I really appreciated the convenience of having daily essentials available at the reception level, including face masks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath salts, and coffee. These small touches make a big difference for travelers. The staff were friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to help. One trainee staff member (I regret not catching her name) went above and beyond to assist me with making a restaurant reservation when I was having difficulty. Her kindness and effort were truly appreciated. The only downside is that the standard room felt a bit smaller than what the photos on the website suggested. However, overall, it was still a very comfortable stay. I would definitely choose the JR hotel series again for future trips to Japan.

Staff friendly and helpful. The room was smaller than expected considering the price for the accommodation but it was very clean and had comfortable beds. The hotel location is extremely well located with immediate access onto the Gotanda Station platform and is close to many amenities.

This was a fantastic hotel option for Tokyo, especially if you're interested in staying near the west side near Shinjuku and Shibuya. The room and bathroom was spacious. The hotel is connected to a mall and there are many places to eat and go shopping nearby. The hotel entrance is also connected to the JR line exit (easy if you have a stroller or luggage and need to take the elevator). Highly recommend and I will be coming back to this location for all future Tokyo travel.

Favourite place to stay in Tokyo

Clean rooms , spacious room for Tokyo. Convenient as it is above Gotanda station on the Yamnote line. Second time I have stayed here and it is one of my favourites.

We stayed here on our last night in Tokyo so we’d have easy access to the train to the airport. The hotel was well situated right above the station making it super convenient. Everything was clean, the room was a nice size and the staff was extremely helpful. Overall we are very happy with our stay here and highly recommend it!
