The hotel was walking distance from the JR lines and local lines. Very busy area and quite a distance from airports. Could not check in until 1pm - rooms not ready earlier. Renovations were taking place and we did not have use of the washing machines. Fresh towels and water left at the door when the Do not Disturb sign showing. They supplied toothbrushes and face cleaning products. Staff were good.

Right across from a major hospital. Sirens and ambulances and announcements blaring from megaphones all night. The pictures make the room seem bigger than they actually are. I originally booked the twin room non-smoking. The room was a closet that smelled of smoke. No room to put luggage anywhere. Unlivable. We had to pay to upgrade as I have claustrophobia and my sister has asthma. New room was a good size for 2 people, but it was the room for 4 people (murphy bed can be removed to make room). I pointed out mold spots in the bathroom. Staff acknowledged the issue, but they were not fixed. Some dust found. Other than that, clean. The TV in the room is not a smart TV, its cable with 11 channels. The breakfast was decent and the hotel is close to nishi-shinjuku entrance, conbini, and a few restaurants.

The staff were extremely helpful. The breakfast was very good, both the quality of the food available and the variety of the food. The room was very clean, however I did not like the step in the bathroom. I did bang my toe a couple of times in the night. Overall a delight to stay there.
