Staff was very friendly and check in/check out was easy with additional perks such as check in early/check out late when signing up for their program for free. Towels and trash was replaced once a day with free cleaning every 3 days and multiple activities within the lobby. Amenities are available, but they’re self serve. Would definitely check in again with Hotel TAVINOS in another time.

One of the good things was that I could choose which room to stay in during the check-in process. The room was small, but the shower booth was big enough to use comfortably. It was much better than the typical tub-style showers in most Japanese hotels. The downsides were that the bathroom sink was extremely small—almost impossible to use for washing hands or face—and the bathroom had a slight bad smell with weak ventilation. However, I could open the windows in the bedroom, which helped a lot by bringing in fresh air from outside. The amenities were good, and I liked that the hotel provided two hand towels and two bath towels, unlike some other hotels that only give one of each, which is very inconvenient. Overall, it was a good stay.

The room was SPOTLESS! Staff was super helpful and one of the staff members also has a free tour that is available on Saturdays. The fact that the hotel takes you out into the area to explore and teach is a really awesome touch that I really enjoyed and was grateful for, considering it was my first time in Japan.
