Will never return Review of Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa Reviewed today Horrible experience! Right from the start. Greeted by staff, not with welcome to the hotel but check in 3pm check your bags at concierge. Hotel was not nearly full and I know there was rooms available. Travelled thousands of miles and yes was early hoping for a little courtesy and early check in. I paid top dollar for a mediocre room and paid extra for lounge service which included a breakfast not even half of the items on the regular breakfast room. Even with the rip off extras I paid no courtesy was given. I found the staff to be cold and rude and unwelcoming. You are much better off staying 3 miles away in Shibuya with many local sights restaurants and shopping available all around you. Here you over pay for mediocre rooms with ZERO ambiance with the exception of a nice garden walk area. Construction all around you and you have to walk for miles to get to anything local!

Very clean spacious room amazing view to Tokyo tower. Friendly respectful staff. Food was amazing & 7/11 downstairs in hotel lobby. Garden,temple, koi fish pond that you can feed all in hotel. Would 100% recommend & stay here again !
