Our room was clean, but felt old and the air conditioning did not work properly. The staff were fine as was the buffet breakfast, but nothing special. Shinagawa Station is great and the hotel is relatively close, but the hotel is on a hill so the walk was uncomfortable in the summer heat. The areas adjacent to the hotel were under construction.

Helpful staff, loved being able to have the added lounge access perks with our room, and it had the coziness of a Japanese hotel with some western amenities as a frequent visitor would come to expect. Location makes it a great spot for Shinkansen access, day trips to Yokohama, and pretty much the main parts of the Tokyo JR network. Enjoyed strolling through the gardens as well! It’s still a decent Prince hotel despite it’s the furtherest one from the Shinagawa station out of all the Prince hotels. As usual, the service is friendly and on point. I even got to check-in an hour earlier than the check-in time. The garden is beautiful especially at night. As a pro tip, the shortest path to walk to the Shinagawa train station is to actually across the garden and through the Sakura Tower lobby. As the hotel is being renovated, some amenities are temporarily unavailable. I’m looking forward to return once the renovation is done.

The room smell was awful. Bathroom had something broken I guess. It smelled like it had never been cleaned and something was growing in the pipes.. so bad it made my clothes smell.
