This is a great hotel, the staff are friendly and helpful, the rooms and general facilities are great too. The hotel onsen is wonderful after a days sightseeing (or to help ease the effects of jet lag). A perfect base to explore Tokyo.

Thank you to the Dormy Inn Ikebukuro for a great stay! 😃 The staff treated us so well! The property was clean & well maintained with awesome amenities. They had a complementary coffee station in the lobby & a nice welcome treat in the room fridge upon arrival. Decent sized room compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan. But the natural hotspring was absolutely the best amenity! This made our stay extra relaxing after hectic days out & about in this busy city. Thanks Dormy Inn for a wonderful stay!

We loved this hotel! The onsen was awesome and so relaxing. Our room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The only concern we had was that the pillows were so hard and not comfortable to sleep on. Other than that, this is a great hotel! It is so close to Sunshine City, a huge mall in Ikebukuro.

The breakfast was great, and the facility had a great sauna. The room condition is old but pretty clean. The only big uncomfortable thing was that when I checked in, some of the staff women who spoke English didn't help or explain at all. She pointed at the check-in machine even though they had an information sheet about the hotel. She didn't tell me, looked angry, and made me uncomfortable, but I saw her smiling at a Japanese guest by that time. However, other staff members are pretty kind and pleasant.
