Excellent staffs, services are superb, great location close to 2 Tokyo metro stations within 5minutes walk. Overall lighting just too dark all over from lobby to elevator, hallways to room are inadequate, the lighting represents a haunted house in a horror movie. It’s is a good place to stay for a couple nights since sightseeing in Tokyo occupied most time of the day . Price and location are good for budget travelers

Staff are very attentive, room is very clean and most important is it is close to everything,train station,restaurant.the hotel is located to all convinient store, pharmacy,seven eleven store, grocery and more. If we will go back to Japan again, Granbell hotel will be my first choice.

The room is pretty clean, staff were nice and there were a lot of restaurants and convenient stores around, the subway was also just a few minutes away. The main issue i had with this hotel was the sound proofing. Unfortunately my room was located right in front of some cleaning closet, so almost every day at 5:30am i can hear a trolley being pulled and the door opening, its loud as if i am outside. I can also hear people laughing and talking outside, although its faint and i can sleep through it, other people may not be able to. The hallway is also an open concept, so you can hear other people on other floors. If some dude is being loud on another floor, you will be able to hear it. Also there is only one location for the outlet which is on the desk, that made it a bit of a hassle to charge electronics and blow dry your hair. Overall its a decent stay.

The hotel is okay — not great but not terrible either. It is convenient to the exit 10 of the red line of subway which is convenient to get to toyko main station, shinjuku, Ginza. There are lots of food options and convenience stores around the area. The hotel interior and rooms are dark - black and grey. The bathroom is nice with the toilet and shower separated. Overall, would recommend due to convenience to metro line and price point is not too bad (as long as you book early).

Unfortunately, this has been the most disappointing hotel experience I’ve had. During my four-day stay, my room key failed every single day. On the first day, staff had to replace the door batteries, but even after that, I repeatedly had to go downstairs to request replacement keys and sometimes multiple times a day. This constant issue was both inconvenient and frustrating, especially given the expectations of reliable service in a hotel stay.

After initial misgivings about the size of the room, it was actually fine for my 6-night stay. Basic breakfast provided (cereals, bread/cakes, tea/coffee and fruit juices). Free bottled water was really handy as weather was really hot for the first few days. Lots of places to eat nearby. An English pub next door! Metro station less than 5-minute walk away. Maybe extend the shelf in the bathroom so there's somewhere to put a toiletries bag? Also need to refix the wooden panel above the fridge (double sided sticky stuff wasn't working - sorry, should have reported this at reception)

The room was a bit deceiving by photo. We opted for a larger room and if we got it, then it isnt as large as you think. Also the breakfast, is not really a breakfast. It's bread put out with butter and a couple other grain options. Other than that, everything was convenient to get to. We have no other complaints and will be ready to come back soon!

The best things about this hotel is that it’s in an amazing location for trains. Less than a 5 minute walk to the station to get all the trains we needed to explore for 4 days in Tokyo. Lots of nice coffee shops and places to eat near by. The staff were helpful. When I told them we were staying for my boyfriend’s birthday they put wine in the room and gave us late check out. We booked a superior room as we were concerned that some rooms in Japan are tiny. Our room was more than big enough and the bed was huge. If we were coming back to Tokyo we would 100% stay here again. Thanks for a great stay.
