We stayed 7-nights at the APA Hotel Yamanote because of its location near Otsuka Station. Besides, the hotel offered such excellent services and a good public hot spring (bath). room is clean. it's recommended for anyone who wants to stay near the train station.

Room temperature is preset from the main source, room was so warm called the front desk they offered me a fan which doesn’t really help and end up opening the window advised by the staff . The hotel is located right next to the the train station, even though I stayed at 17th floors the noise from the trains and the announcement from the train station was very noisy. I would not stay at the same hotel for sure. I had good experience with APA hotels before but not this one

The staff was courteous, and the rooms were clean. The foreign movie list was very limited, and not replenishing the coffee supplies or water bottle daily was strange to me. It's a very convenient place to stay given its proximity to Otsuka station. I would come back.

80 degrees(f) in the hotel room on the 17th floor and they are running the heater? I understand you cannot control the centralized system but you can install cooling fans in each room. Absolutely waste of money, stay was horrid, room should be against fire code being so small and all amenities are extremely overpriced. They suggest opening window to cool room, guess what, the window has no screen and faces the train tracks constantly playing music and sounds of trains stopping until 12am in unacceptable
