Room was very clean, on the smaller side but I won't knock it down for that as this is expected in Tokyo and I knew this factor when I booked it. Amenities are all available in the room and housekeeping provide fresh towels daily regardless of whether you want a full clean or not. There is no waiting area in the lobby so nowhere to wait around if you have arrived before check in time. You can either pay a fee to check in early (2000Yen per hour before check-in) or you can leave your suitcase to explore. Next to the metro (12-15min walk) so very convenient to explore all areas of Tokyo and you can walk anywhere within Shinjuku. Laundry facilities are available but there are only two washing machines for the entire hotel so there may be a long wait during busier times. I did not have much interaction with staff but they seemed friendly at the check-in desk.

The room was spotless when I got there, everything was meticulously placed and sanitized. They clean every 3rd day, and they cleaned my room while I was there and made it look like it did when I arrived. Staff was very nice and helpful. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely stay again!

I haf a good stay here! The room was small, but very clean and gave you just the amount of space you needed (especially if you won't be in the room often due to exploring). The breakfast was very yummy for a minimal fee. Staff was kind and very helpful. You can request to have your room cleaned each day, and the cleaning was very good. The location of this hotel is optimal...close to entertainment, food, and all the buzz of Shinjuku. It is not the quietest place due to Shinjuku's night life, but I didn't find the outside sounds to be problematic. Note: there are LOTS of APA Hotels in the area! So that can make it a bit tricky finding your correct hotel...but they are all within walking distance of each other, so course correcting if you do get mixed up isn't too bad.

This property is at the footsteps of the red light district. There are 4 different apa hotels on the same street so it’s impossible to know which one you have booked because the pictures all look the same for the hotels. We stayed here with young children and it felt very unsafe and uncomfortable to walk around the area at night. Additionally our room carpet was heavily stained and the room itself was a micro sized room. The hotel has only one elevator which can get very busy. I would not stay here again or at other apa chains given this experience.

Convenient location close to lots of restaurants and shopping, not to mention a nice park, among other things. The staff wasn’t all the best at English, but were still very helpful and friendly all the same.
