Guests are welcome to use the washing machine, dryer (both for a fee), table soccer, and the small playground.

On Easter Saturday, guests are always invited to an Easter bonfire with bread-on-a-stick baking and sausage grilling.

Right by the Torfhafen is the old castle park and the market square with its shops, restaurants, bakery, supermarket, and ice cream parlor. Mondays are market days here, featuring many regional products.

Behind the dike, there’s a popular beach snack bar.
