The accommodation is close to the village of Withleigh, which is just a 5-minute drive to the historic Mid Devon town of Tiverton. The National Trust Buzzards Woodland is just a short walk away along the public footpath with the opportunity to see plenty of wildlife and beautiful views. This part of Devon is an excellent touring base with easy access to lots of places of interest.

The accommodation is set midway between Devon’s two coastlines, convenient for a day out to either. The award-winning North Devon coastline is within a 50-minute drive with its golden sandy surfing beaches, and the Jurassic South Devon coastal beauty spots are within an hour’s drive. Nearby you can explore the Two Moors Way, visit RHS Rosemoor, The Grand Western Canal, Knightshayes House or the breath-taking scenery at Exmoor National Park, a short drive away.

Cowslip Cottage was excellent accommodation all the equipment was good quality and spotlessly clean.

Cowslip Cottage was excellent accommodation all the equipment was good quality and spotlessly clean. The owners were very helpful with places to visit and eat out, and even provided us with duck eggs from their supplies. Plenty of places to visit nearby meant we had a great time.

We had an excellent holiday at Cowslip Cottage.

We had an excellent holiday at Cowslip Cottage. Chris & Jane were warm and welcoming and available to give advice and recommendations. The cottage was spacious and in a remote but beautiful location. It is perfectly placed with lots of NT properties within an hours drive and the nearest Knightshayes was only a 10 min drive away.
