Staff were so helpful and friendly. Allowed us to leave our baggage pre and post stay so we could make the most of the time we were there. The room was excellent (lock a little fiddly but not impossible) and it was a perfect location. Also brilliant breakfast - totally set us up for the whole day. Definitely recommend.

The hotel was situated in a perfect place .Beautiful setting. Just opposite the tour boats. A few nice beaches nearby. The best beaches in my opinion ….one to the left of the hotel walking around the marina. Nice snack bar called the Red Lobster. Another nice beach resort Waikiki. Staff at the hotel were very helpful and pleasant. Hotel was nice. Our room had a living room off it. Nice but a bit oldish However comfortable and good value .Breakfast was nice. Not a buffet but nice choices and lovely coffee. Although the room had a kettle and cups I think an improvement would be some coffee sachets and milk rather than just a tea bag each day. All in all a lovely holiday in a fabulous place. Thank you.

2/10 Terrible

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
We appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, but unfortunately the hotel was in very poor and outdated condition considering the price. We expected a much higher standard, especially since we associated the Astoria name with quality. Also the reception was located at the back of the building next to an area where the restaurant stored its waste and leftovers. This created a poor first impression and did not feel welcoming. Overall, the hotel did not live up to our expectations and did not offer good value for the price.

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
This is more of a bed and breakfast place rather than a hotel. There are 9 rooms on three floors with no elevator, which could be an issue for some. There is a restaurant attached to hotel, which served a nice breakfast, otherwise there is no seating area. I found the room to be rather dated. Shower head was old although gave good pressure. No complimentary water In the room. Air conditioning worked but again felt a bit old (weird smell from it in bedroom). Staff seemed nice enough. I think it’s expensive relative to what you get. Next time I’d stay in an apartment rather than here.
