Disliked: Cleanliness
Although many of the staff were very friendly and courteous there were major red flags that made my stay uncomfortable. Such as an employee approaching me while I was alone at the pool claiming I owed $10000rupes for a gold investment. I did tell management. The cleanliness outside of my room was horrible unfortunately the video I took disappeared after I sent it to the LeMiami. My review was rejected. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and when I asked for more blankets to add I was begrudgingly given 2. The next day I asked for 2 more blankets and they gave me a dirty comforter. It was really gross smelling. The young men smiled while giving me the dirty blanket. It was very disconcerting. I didn’t feel comfortable as a solo traveler. I was there 3 nights. I witnessed an employee hitting a dog. I told him to stop and he did. There is a pregnant cat who looks and acts hungry. I mentioned this to the front desk. The food was good. The location was not very good. Although Serenity Beach was a short walk away I felt uneasy walking there alone because of the stray dogs. There were no coffee shops near the resort and LeMiami only provided instant coffee. I did make the best of it and do day excursions. Also there were things out of LeMiamis control like construction which limited access to the hotel. Also there was loud chanting through a speaker that would either last for a long time or briefly. Early in the morning 6am or late at night. LeMiami is not a spa or resort.
