Lindsaig is a beautiful and well restored mill! Fantastic views, and sitting on the balcony with binoculars quickly became addictive. A daily visit from a herd of deer, friendly cows, and down at the beach we saw lion's mane and barrel jellyfish which were great to see, but be careful if going in the water. A lovely riverside walk down to the very secluded beach, but we'd recommend wellies and caution especially in heavy rain as you have to walk through the river at points. The hosts were so welcoming, and left a delicious loaf of homemade bread, very much appreciated bottle of milk, tea and coffee and bottle of prosecco and they were on hand when we thought something was wrong (turned out it wasn't anyway). The Mill has everything you could possibly need for a home from home for the week. The massive copper bathtub was a huge highlight, and we were happy to be patient while it filled. The water pressure isn't good, but we expected it due to the location. The beds were comfortable, and the bedding was top quality. Garden is a secure and fantastic space for children and dogs, just be careful as there is a little side gate that children could get out of if unattended. ample parking. Dog bowls, towels and blankets left which were really handy. Having a profoundly autistic and learning disabled child can make holidays extremely stressful, and something we can end up regretting, but he thrived at the mill and our week here was the rest we all desperately needed! Thank you x
