Dive into Appalachian heritage at the hands-on Foxfire Museum, stroll the scenic trails of Moccasin Creek State Park and Tallulah Gorge State Park, or bask in the sunshine at Timpson Cove Beach.

The heater didn’t seem to be heating at first, but just be patient. It actually got nice and warm. The hot tub was amazing! Very close to some great little towns and wineries.

Comfortable Cabin!

The only drawbacks were the 1/2 mile gravel road (bumpy and rutted in places) and the tiny shower off the master bedroom (we used the other bathroom). The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the AC mini splits kept us cool! We had a wonderful stay!

We love Clayton and Rabun county. This property was OK - clean, well stocked and fine for our needs - a base for hikes and to hang out in the evenings. It’s unlikely we would select it again. The Pros: The private back deck with sunken hot tub and great firepit in the back yard / complete with firewood were our favorite parts of the cabin. The cons:
