Upon check in, there was an odor of stale cigarettes. The hallways also had this odor. The room was clean. During the night we stayed, it began to smell like marijuana. When we were leaving in the morning, we had a strong odor of marijuana from the second floor down to the first floor in the elevator.

Efficient, all the essentials

My spacious room had a sofa. I loved the large sink for sinktop storage. No frills, but I enjoyed a fresh breakfast that didn't try to do anything fancy. Unfortunately, the lighting in the hallways is that cold LED light. It made it look like a jail or institution. Hey, designer: Change out those bulbs for a warmer hue! I liked it a lot, overall. Five big stars.

Pros: Our room was exactly as pictured. Newly renovated, very clean, quiet. The beds were comfortable. Cons: No coffee maker in the hotel room. The bathroom was so small that the sink was out near the couch. Not a huge deal, just a bit unusual. Breakfast was simple, but adequate. It was very clean downstairs. Ice water would have been nice to have for breakfast along with the juice and coffee. Some protein would have been nice, too. It was just carbs and yogurt. Noted: One of the staff, an older gentleman, was sitting in the “lobby” area watching a movie when we checked in. That was a bit awkward since the check-in area is so small. It would have been nice if they would have offered us water bottles. The other lady who checked us in was polite and helpful and told us exactly how to get to our room. There was also a “wet floor” sign hanging on the inside of the elevator, as if that’s where they keep it. No floors were wet in the building when we were there.
