The room and resort were significantly more aged and worn than the photos indicated. The view from the property was amazing, getting to the property was trying and is not for the faint of heart. The front desk staff was kind at check in but we were not able to ask any additional questions because of limited front desk hours and the warnings in our room that unnecessary calls and questions would be 25 euro.

Wonderful walking opportunities' from the site or by quick car ride. Ideal for walkers and for winter ski resort A restaurant would have been nice at night or a bar as there is nothing local and if you have not been to the supermarket before arriving you could be left desperate

Great location, but...

Great location, but if you ride a motorbike, be VERY careful coming up to the property as the roads contain hairpins and inclines that are insane, to say the least, if you have a heavy bike. Otherwise, staff were helpful but the apartment was a bit basic, but functional for our limited 2 night stay. Has a pool, with views over the lake/forest

Lugrin garden and city hotel, good value

Good value accommodation in beautiful setting on Mountain overlooking Lake Geneva (Lac Leman). Too cold to use pool, would have been good if the overhead cover had been used. We would have swum then. Good location to visit Evian, Lake Annecy and beautiful mountain viewpoints . The bathroom needed the plaster on the walls replacing. Generally needs an uodate but the heating worked very well.

Superior apartment in very bad condition

Common areas (pool, tennis court, etc) were very nice. Our apartment was however not fit for being rented out: the bathroom smelled like sewer the entire time, most of the floor boards were misaligned for large gaps in between - just to mention a few things. In short the “superior” apartment we rented was simply not fit for being rented out. It should have been redone many years ago.

Loved the view from this property overlooking the lake. Would have like air conditioning. A warning to anyone washing their clothes in the on-site laundry. It automatically dispenses soap and even after washing out clothes a few times after it stank of the soap smell very strongly. It gave my wife a headache and eyes watered. We could not believe we could not get that strong soap smell out. My wife almost threw away her clothes that she has washed there. Again don’t use their onsite laundry.

All in All a Satisfactory Experience

The communication with the accommodation was bad, largely because it was in French only and I don't speak French. On the day of Arrival we had a difficult Day because our GPS failed and we couldn't locate the somewhat remote location. With the help of a dog walker and the local tourist information in Evian we eventually reached the Complex late. During this time we range the accommodation several times, but no one ever answered. Anyway, we checked in with a very kind and warm receptionist. The accommodation was adequate and good value for money; the location and day time views of Lac Leman were magical. Only the bed was a little uncomfortable due to the age of the mattress. The security deposit of 416 Australian Dllars seemed a little high for just 2 nights, and it took a week to be refunded.

È stata una pessima esperienza di check in Benché la struttura avesse predisposto una cassetta di sicurezza, non ha fornito il codice, ma ha lasciato un numero di telefono. Si è presentata una persona dopo diversi minuti di attesa, la quale ci ha fatto aspettare altro tempo. Nonostante abbia aperto la cassetta di sicurezza e trovato una busta col mio nominativo, ha voluto controllare altri appartamenti (perché?), e alla fine ci ha consegnato le chiavi di uno di questi. In totale abbiamo atteso, dal nostro arrivo, almeno 45 minuti. Mai successo. Avrei apprezzato come in altre occasioni, inserire il codice e ritirare le chiavi. All'interno dell' appartamento, era presente un regolamento piuttosto minaccioso e la tavoletta del wc rotta. Check out entro le 10 (sarebbe stato meglio entro le 12 o 11) Alla fine, mi è stato chiesto di pagare nuovamente il mio soggiorno. Ho fatto presente e dimostrato di aver già pagato, e dopo una mezz'oretta di accertamenti, la receptionist si è scusata, ma anche qui mi hanno fatto perdere altro tempo, sottraendolo alla nostra vacanza. Esperienza purtroppo negativa

Empfang: war nett. Das Apartment ist alt und sehr hellhörig. Viele Wohnungen sind von Monteuren belegt, die dort arbeiten. Touristen mit Kindern scheinen nicht willkommen zu sein – es gab bereits um 20:00 Uhr Reklamationen wegen Lärms. Wir haben uns vor Ort ein Bild gemacht und uns dagegen entschieden. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.
