Welcome to Riverbend Lodge: 11 private acres with 1,200 feet of Betsie River frontage, no neighbors in sight, and room for the whole group in every season.

Fall on the river: Catch the fall salmon run on the Betsie, watch for deer and eagles along the bank, and end the day around the fire pit under some of the darkest, starriest skies in northern Michigan. The U-shaped driveway has room for trucks and trailers, making the lodge a comfortable base camp for deer season.

Thanksgiving and early December: Host the holidays where everyone finally fits. Two king primary suites with private baths, two bunk rooms, and a separate upstairs family room with a pocket door give kids and adults their own spaces, and the fully equipped kitchen is ready for a holiday feast. Early December is perfect for a family getaway, a friends’ weekend, or a group holiday celebration before the season gets busy.

Ski and snow season: Crystal Mountain is just 8 miles away. Trail 39 runs right along the property, with direct access to miles of snowmobile and ORV trails.

Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Lake Michigan are all an easy drive away. Fall and winter weekends book early, so reserve your dates now.

This house was everything we could have imagined and more. There was 15 of us and we all fit very comfortably. It truly felt like home away from away. The home is beautiful and so cozy. The hosts were also amazing with communication! We were about 35 min from Traverse City, which was perfect. Would definitely come back again.

Great Family Escape!

An overall great property with plenty of room for everyone to enjoy either a nature walk, fishing, or just sit by the fire pit! The owners were phenomenal and excellent communicators. Whenever we had a question they responded immediately and appreciate their hospitality.

Beautiful property

Blake and Rachael are wonderful communicators. Our large golf group of twelve really enjoyed this property. Plenty of space and sleeping accommodations for our large group. The house is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend staying here.

Excellent stay in an excellent, really perfect, property.

I felt very much like the owners of this property knew what they were doing when they built it (a very new property). Isolated along the Betsy River where a number a family members went fishing, not too far from the little town of Frankfort on Lake MI (where we went to the beach). Everything worked in the house, and everything was laid out very nicely.

Nurtured in Nature

Our extended family spent the week at Riverbend. With the upstairs living space, it was the perfect place for two families to relax, fish, play and hang out. The location was great for day trips to the beach, Traverse City, other rivers, and exploring small towns in the area. The home is incredible with every detail considered for guests and the setting is so peaceful. It was a vacation we will all remember. Thank you Spooners!
