Welcome to Thoissey, a charming town in the Ain region, at the gateway to Beaujolais. This single-story terraced house was converted from a former marble workshop. It has preserved the soul of the place thanks to a few remnants carefully integrated into a warm and comfortable renovation. The house is ideally located for exploring a region rich in nature, heritage, and gourmet delights. Explore the banks of the Saône on a pleasure boat trip or simply on foot. For the curious and culture-loving, the region is full of characterful villages, castles, Romanesque churches, and local museums. Less than 20 km away, visit the towns of Maçon and Belleville-en-Bojolais, or stroll through flea markets and farmers' markets where the local art of living is revealed. The Beaujolais and Mâconnais vineyards are never far away, as are the wine cellars where you can discover the region's iconic vintages, accompanied by local cheeses and charcuterie. Designed to accommodate up to 6 people, this vacation home is a lovely blend of contemporary and vintage decor. Relax on a large south-facing wooden terrace, ideal for al fresco dining or simply enjoying the local way of life. The property opens onto a lush, unfenced garden, perfect for relaxation and conviviality. On the same level: entrance hall, open-plan kitchen, living room with direct access to the terrace.
