Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
We rather liked Kemps Yard, which must be fairly new to the listing. Very convenient for Thirsk town, quietly hidden away from the main road, and clean and cosy. Parking in the yard is almost impossible, although the neighbour is an expert at manoeuvring his pickup down the lane! The visitor's permit lets you park on the road and saves you from endangering your vehicle, but you may get your step count up while you unload. We were ok with the cobbled lane, but it wouldn't be so good for those less stable on their feet. The beds are comfortable, but the two singles squeak excessively, so much so that our adult daughter put the mattress on the floor. The house comes with every modern convenience and the Wi-Fi served three people perfectly well. As others have said, the laminate flooring in the kitchen has separated and looks unsightly, but it wasn't really a trip hazard.
