The building and rooms are older and show the wear but it was clean. The bed was too soft for my tastes and woke up with backache. Air conditioning works. There was plenty of parking available. They gave our dog a cute little goodie bag with treats and a ball. 🙂

Was really quiet, which was a surprise being right in town. Older building but room was modernized. There were only 3 rooms booked on my side of the building - unfortunately the checked us all in a row and the guy next to me woke at 4 and stomped around like an elephant so I got up and hit the road early.

Overall a good place to stay especially for the price. Staff was great and room was very clean. Property conditions were so so as it’s been a work in progress. My only complaint was expecting a 2 queen sized beds room and the beds were definitely full sized.

We stayed at The Dalles Inn which is connected to The Rayland but is the less expensive option. We highly recommend. Super clean. Great bed and pillows. You can tell it’s an older hotel the has been remodeled a few times but it is well done. We would definitely stay there again. Greg at the front desk is amazing.

Ashley provided exceptional assistance last night when we made the decision to halt our journey due to adverse wind conditions before proceeding westward. The comfort of the bedding ensured we fell asleep almost instantly. The following morning, we inadvertently left a pet blanket, and Greg promptly contacted us to inform us of this oversight. We extend our gratitude to Ashley and Greg for their remarkable accommodation of our spontaneous decision to stay. We anticipate returning in the future.

We were upgraded to the brand new restored property from Rockin Randy. Beautiful clean and quiet. They were still workin on the building and didn’t have the breakfast open yet. but we enjoyed our clean, spacious room with a view. The town had a cute little holiday parade that evening so we watched from our warm room!

The location is great. No views, but very close to everything we wanted to see. The room was spotless, beds were comfortable, shower worked well. The only thing I noticed was that there was an iron....but no ironing board. We didn't need one, but another guest might have. We brought our travel Keurig with us, but found that they had a Keurig in the room. However, it leaked around the bottom somewhere. The little refrigerator was pretty loud. It worked great, but was pretty noisy- especially at night. Didn't bother me, but it did bother my husband. All in all, the stay was fine. Yes, we would stay again.
