Great check in and out. Super friendly staff. Nice big room, clean. Comfortable bed. Even nice small pool and hot tub area. Clearly mgt is trying- however the people who were staying around us, not great. A few men smoking outside their room on the balcony without shirts on, a couple in an argument by the stairs. That sort of thing. Not really the facility’s fault buuut I don’t think I’d stay there again if I had other options.

The only thing I did not like was that y'all told us check out time was 12:00 and a staff member come knocking on our door at 11:30 asking us if we needed a late checkout and we where already packing to get out by 12:00 checkout time. I told him I am packing now to leave by 12:00. Then he said okay I will put you down for late check out! I got out of there like 11:45.

Check in around 7 PM and immediately the room smelled of cigarette smoke. Contemplated leaving but the room was nonrefundable so we decided to tough it out. Every time you flush the toilet, the entire room smells like sewage. There were gouges in the Jacuzzi tub that look like someone had poked a knife in it And when we filled it up with water bugs came out of the jets. Gave up on the Jacuzzi tub and decided to go get a bite to eat. Came back and tried to go to sleep, but the tiny pillows they gave us were entirely too small and I guess we finally dozed off somewhere around 1 AM only to wake up at 3 AM and neither my wife nor myself could breathe from the cigarette smoke. We gathered our things and checked out. I told the guy at the front why we were leaving and he said that he confirmed with me at check-in about the room I had reserved. He says he told me it was a smoking room, but if he had said that I definitely would not have accepted it. 100% do not recommend.

When affordable means sketchy…

I don’t leave negative reviews, but this establishment just needs some attention. Every surface felt and looked unclean to put it nicely. We kept our shoes on at all times! The room was just constantly damp. The bed was comfortable, but the walls were so thin we could literally hear the neighbors breathing. The parking lot was a pinball machine and pieces of people’s trash was left all around the property. The whole place just felt like a depressed afterthought.

This is an old property and needs to be painted on the outside. Since is not a "city" property there is a majority of one night stays(except during first Mondays) therefore it is not going to be as pristine as a business hotel. Pretty good value for the money but a wouldn't make it an extended stay place. Convient to I20 and Dairy Palace; so OK for one night
