Overall stay is ok as we don't find many options at Big bend national park. Paid 225 USD per day was a huge but the room facilites provided were just ok. Could see stainmarks in shower tub and kitchen platform, broken tap-nobs/faucets and Poor internet services.

Friendly staff. Clean room, but the electrical outlets were worn out. The charger would not stay in one outlet and in another it slipped a bit and lost contact leaving me with an uncharged phone. Also outlets were poorly placed— behind bed, under table making it easy to lose a charger

Staff very friendly. Lost my key while we were out in the desert. Got back to room at 10:00 and called the night number. They were there in less than 5 minutes to let us in the room. No coffee pot in room so we got our own at the dollar store. Also an ice machine on site would have been nice. If I’d have known those things, would have planned it out.

John is the GM, we talked w him for a while up front. Super nice & very knowledgable of the Terlingua. My wife & I stayed in a double room. Bathroom, sink, 2 beds, tv. We didn't ever turn the TV on while we were there. We loved our stay here. The location is perfect. John used a term, something to the effect of "Vintage hotel at affordable pricing" - that's exactly what it is. If you need a place to stay that won't break your bank, yet provide everything needed, Chisos is a wonderful place to stay!
