Although our apartment is part of a single-family home in a quiet, residential part of town, as soon as you close the door behind you, you’ll find yourself in a world of your own. The Adersbach-Weckelsdorf Rock Cities are just a stone’s throw away, but the best part awaits you right here—a place where time moves a little slower. As your hosts, we live right next door and make it a priority to ensure that everything runs like clockwork during your stay. We’re happy to welcome you with a smile and a small welcome gift to make your first moments after arrival even more enjoyable.

We want you to feel at home with us—but without all the daily chores and stress. Our apartment isn’t just a “tourist base” where you simply lay your head down after a long hike. It’s a place where it’s simply a joy to spend time. 🏡 What’s it like inside? Just like home (or maybe even a little better)
We’ve designed the interior to be, first and foremost, practical, spotless, and cozy:
Where you’ll be sleeping: In the master bedroom, you’ll find a large double bed with very comfortable mattresses and bedding that feels so cozy you won’t want to get out of bed in the morning. The second, cozy room offers additional sleeping space—the perfect retreat for kids or friends. Plus, when you wake up, you’ll look right out the windows onto the greenery.
Kitchen and Living Room: We’ve equipped the kitchen down to the last detail. Even little things like coffee or tea for a relaxed start to the day are provided. If you feel like it, you can whip up everything from pancakes to a festive dinner for the whole family right here. And what if you don’t feel like cooking? We completely understand—after all, it’s vacation! We’d be happy to recommend great restaurants in the area that we visit ourselves and that are well worth a visit.
The bathroom: You’ll have access to a modern bathroom with a shower and a washing machine—which comes in handy after a long day in the sand among the rocks or after the kids have been running wild in the garden.
For the little ones: We welcome families with open arms. We have children of our own, so we know exactly what you usually have to bring along. We provide a crib, a high chair, plenty of toys, board games, and other little extras that make your life easier and keep the little rascals wonderfully entertained.
🌳 Our Green Kingdom: A garden that’s full of life
We invite you to our lovingly tended, refreshing country garden. It’s a lively, green place where everyone can find their own corner to read, relax, or play:
The Relaxation Pool: Don’t expect a huge lap pool. Our pool is heated and designed specifically so that, after a hot day in the mountains, you can cool off comfortably, sit in the water, and let the fatigue wash away. An absolute hit for young and old alike!
Sauna with Ambiance: The tent sauna nestled amid the greenery is an experience in itself. We’re happy to enhance your evenings with atmospheric lighting and complement them with essential oils of your choice. A wooden cooling tub is also available for the perfect ritual.
Garden life and animals: The kids (and most likely you, too) will be thrilled by our animal neighbors. Behind the small fence live our chicken friends and two curious ducks. Right next to them, you’ll find a sandbox, the garden, and the greenhouse where we lovingly grow vegetables.
Mild Summer Evenings and Open-Air Cinema: We love nothing more than starting the day with a hearty breakfast on the sun-drenched terrace overlooking the garden. As evening approaches, you can move over to the large grill or the classic fire pit with seating under the umbrella (we’ll be happy to prepare firewood for you). Summer evenings here are wonderfully mild and sun-drenched. And if you’d like, we’d be happy to set up an open-air summer movie theater for you on the terrace with a projection right under the open sky.
🗺️ Where to go once you’ve had your fill of peace and quiet?
The area around Teplice nad Metují is full of breathtaking places:
Rocks within reach: The wild labyrinths of the Weckelsdorf and Adersbach rocks, with their monumental sandstone towers and photogenic turquoise-blue lake, are just a few minutes away from us.
Mysterious corners:, If you want to escape the large crowds of tourists, hike to the Střmen (Stirn) castle ruins or to the magical Skály (Bischofstein) rock castle with its dark forest lake and small castle.
Culture and Across the Border: The majestic Baroque monastery complex in Broumov (Braunau) is definitely worth a visit. And if you’re in the mood for spa treats or a freshly fried trout, the Polish spa town of Kudowa-Zdrój, just across the border, is the ideal destination for a relaxing day trip.
