The condo was very clean. The construction of the building was solid; the plumbing and appliances were modern and clean, and worked well. The beds had comfortable mattresses and high quality linens. The bedrooms had big closets with plenty of shelves and hangers. The hostess, Jolanta, responded to my emails quickly and helpfully. The building really DOES have a doorman guarding the entrance 24/7. All the doormen were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was clean. The balcony was lovely, with nice furniture. The decor was tasteful and pleasant without being too "busy". The dining table was very solid, made from one large, beautiful piece of wood. The kitchen was adequately stocked with basics including several cooking pots and frying pans. I wished for a smaller frying pan for making eggs, but that's my only complaint.The beach was perfect for young children: the sand was very soft with small grains. No garbage or driftwood or sharp stones. Walking out into the water, the slope was very gradual. The waves were big enough to be interesting but I never felt the kids were unsafe. Our one-and-a-half year old granddaughter played in the wet sand at water's edge and never got hit by a wave. Our seven-year-old grandson waded out past the breakers into water that was only waist high between swells. The swells lifted him off his feet. He jumped with the swells and loved it and never got into any trouble.
