We had a very good stay in a comfortable room and bed. We really liked the afternoon tea and drinks in the library upstairs as it brought guests together and made for a very pleasant evening. We were in the Bishops Retreat and thoroughly enjoyed the dressing up. A fun stay. Thank you

We had a wonderful stay at Te Anau Lodge property. We had the whole Manaroa homestead to ourselves and Kim was so accommodating and provided wonderful groceries for us to use. She also gave us good advice for taking the scenic route through the Catlins.

The staff were very friendly and informative. We stayed in the historic train carriage. It was a fantastic experience. Warm and cosy. Bed was comfortable, the shower was a fabulous experience (in the middle of the train) and the water was hot!! Breakfast was included and plentiful. A really lovely experience!!

We had a wonderful stay here! The location is perfect for adventures in Te Anau and going on to Milford. Our room was comfortable and had a beautiful view, and the whole lodge has so much character. The host was friendly and welcoming, and really accommodating. And the breakfast was amazing!

Great stay in the train car at Te Anau Lodge. Friendly and very helpful staff. Kym was amazing, she helped us find the best cruise on Milford Sound, great hikes nearby and a restaurant recommendation. Breakfast was served in the dining room with delicious cold & hot options.
