Very Good

The staff were very friendly. The bar and the breakfast areas were beautifully presented. The room was very spaceous with stunning outlooks to the mountains. Breakfast was plentiful and good value for money.
The food was great, we had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant and everything was really good. We spent a lot of time on the patio off our room, which was beautiful, and walked along the stream/river at the back of the hotel lawn. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We were very happy with our stay.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Had a nice 1 night stay in the Brander Lodge Hotel whilst enjoying the local area. Parts of the hotel could do with some tlc, but the breakfast room, dining room and bar area were lovely and the food was great. We liked the gardens with the river at the bottom. Bedroom clean and comfy. Great hotel for the price. We will go back.
An amazing gem of a place. Such a dreamy location in the middle of a Glen with the hills all around and a river at the end of a beautiful, well maintained garden. We loved all the bluebells and the wild deer that came so close. Sitting on the patio outside of our room in the morning, listening to the bird song was so peaceful. The room was big and clean and the staff were so friendly. We really enjoyed our breakfast - it used high quality produce. There are many things to see nearby too including Kilchurn Castle, Conan Kirk and it's not too far to Oban. We hope to stay again!
This place was beautiful and they took so very well of me! Laundry, food, entertainment, comfortable bed and clean rooms and any questions or concerns were addressed immediately! David was so wonderful!! I highly recommend.
Our stay was great. The food was good; huge made-to-order breakfast omelette. Only problem was the bathtub needed a bit of scrubbing....there was scum around the sides in the bathtub. Other than that it was great.

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
Feels like a hotel that may be in decline. The rooms are comfortable and the chef I had produced some very good food, but looking about it seemed like no money had been spent on it for a while and an update is overdue.
Dinner was great. Breakfast was not that good (not the same Chef as dinner). Room was fine. We just spent one night there and it was good for a stop over.
Staff were very helpful, polite and professional. Very pleasant atmosphere, the food was excellent. Overall a very pleasant stay thank you

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Hotel in terrible state of disrepair. manhole cover covering something in the floor on the main upstairs corridor. Ceiling tiles missing from the roof in the stair well with insulation hanging down over the stairs. Gaps in the bottom of the fire exit door because the bottom of the door is rotten - god knows what can crawl through from outside. Room I stayed in was very dated. only 5 or 6 TV channels working. Breakfast area and bar area are nice. Breakfast itself was nice but wouldn't stay there again unless the hotel itself undergoes significant renovation

Spectacular location, perfect for a stop-over. Beds were comfortable, shower was nice and hot, can only get better with a bit of TLC from the landlords!

Spent a lovely, quiet two nights stay. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Special mention to the Chef and also David from Ireland for their extra attention 😁
