Villa Eiras Altas Grande by Portucasa

Eiras Altas Grande is a rural and spacious holiday home for a maximum of 10 persons. It is located very quietly in the natural hilly landscape of the Eastern Algarve.
The house has a swimming pool, six bedroom, four bathrooms and 1 separate toilet. The house consists of two parts, linked to each other by a centrally located and open inner patio.
The first part, a former quinta, consists of a spacious living room with open kitchen and the dining area where the possibility exists to eat together with 10 people.
Characteristic of this very attractive part with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are the thick walls, the wooden shutters, the traditional tiled floor and the wooden roofs.
The other, more modern part, which also has a typical Portuguese look, can be reached via the inner patio and has on the ground floor a large living room (80m2) with open kitchen, large windows with fantastic views of the beautiful surroundings. There is a wing here. On the 1st floor there are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and access to the spacious terraces on two levels from where a beautiful view of the natural environment surrounding the entire holiday home is possible. This part is also rented separately (see Villa Eiras Altas).

Around Eiras Altas Grande there are terraces and spots on all sides that give fantastic views on both the rock garden with large cacti at the back, and on the green hills with olive and cork trees all around. Stone steps lead down from the large terrace to the lower, beautifully situated swimming pool.

The house is fully air-conditioned (hot/cold), has a wood-burning stove and in the modern part there is under-floor heating on both floors.
A perfect house for a combined group such as a large family with older children and supporters, for several families or for a small group and of course for piano lovers, peace seekers and sun worshippers!

Surroundings Tavira
Total peace and quiet around the house as the house can only be reached via a well-travelled sandy road (1 km). Within ten minutes you are in the nearest town Santa Catarina where a small supermarket, post office and bank can be found.

Tavira, surely the nicest town in the Algarve, is about a 20 minutes drive away. From here a boat goes to the beaches off the coast.

You can also reach the beach directly by car: within half an hour you are in Manta Rota. Kilometres of beautiful sandy beach!

2nd bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet.
Bedroom with double bed (and window to side garden, and window to back garden)
Bedroom with 2 single beds (and window overlooking rear garden). With air conditioning.
Modern part:
Ground floor -
Large living room with open kitchen. Access to large terraces in front of the house. With air conditioning.
1st Floor -
Bedroom with double bed and bathroom en-suite (bath, shower, washbasin, toilet), access to large terrace. With air conditioning.
Bedroom with 2 single beds and bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC. With air conditioning.
Both houses are connected by an inner patio and have their own entrance.
Remarks
- Child's bed available (35 Euros per week).
- On arrival a deposit of 500.00 euro is requested, which will be refunded to your account within a week after the house has been left in good condition.
- Arrival after 20.00 hrs: 30 euro extra to be paid to contact person.
- Swimming pool is 10x5 m large; about 100 cm to 150 cm deep.
- Distance to Tavira is about 20 min. drive.
