Lakeside Vistas Magic - Rainbow Point Home

Amazingly situated right on the water's edge, Lakeside Vistas Magic is ideal for a great all season holiday. In a fabulous position, located on the Lions Walk/Great Lake Walkway for cycling and walking and with a lovely large lawn area directly in front of the house on the lake edge.
Free unlimited Wifi is a recent addition.

Able to sleep up to 10 guests comfortably with recently added electric blankets on all beds, this Rainbow Point Holiday Home is a laid back and comfortable base for your Taupo holiday.

Downstairs, bedroom 1 is fitted with a king bed (brand new), bedroom 2 has a queen bed, and bedroom 3 includes 2 single beds that can be pushed together to make a super king. Upper level bedroom 4 enjoys fabulous views of the lake and has a queen bed with an attached separate toilet and basin. This suite being located on level 2 is accessed externally with entry off the upstairs deck.

Renovated in 2021, there is also a sleep out that is separate from the house fitted with a king single bed and a single bed each with electric blankets and also a heater in the room.

A ramp onto the deck allows wheelchair access to all rooms with the exception of the queen bedroom on Level 2.

Enjoy easy access to the lake for swimming, fishing and boating. Or, relax on the deck, take in the stunning views and soak up the sun!

Fantastic spot

Lovely place to stay and look out over the lake. Kids enjoyed being able to play in the reserve. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of bathroom availability for the large group we had.

The position amazing. The house is an older home and great as a holiday Batch. The outside bedroom was stuffy and smelt as though it had been locked up for quite some time. The house and contents are showing wear. However we enjoyed the stay and the great position the home is in.

Lovely location & view . Unfortunately the fridge & oven needed a good clean . My husband wanting to bake a birthday cake & after only ten minutes in the oven it was burnt to a crisp. Settings need checking. The main bathroom is quite old & needs a spruce up . Overall a nice stay for 10 people, but the inside of the house is looking a bit tired.

This was the ideal place for our weekend away with 5 adults celebrating a birthday. We loved the lakefront position handy to the lakeside walk. The layout was perfect and We were warm and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent bach so close to town

We just love this bach, such an amazing location. Excellent for biking, walking and enjoying the lake which is a stones throw from the front deck. We were however, dissapointed with how clean the house was on arrival.

Great getaway

Not particularly modern but very comfortable and easy to relax in. The 2 queen beds downstairs were great . We cooked and found there were plenty of platters, ramekins, bowls for our use. Beautifully positioned with fab views. Walk or bike path far enough away for relative privacy but close enough to encourage us to use it. A great place for the whole family.
