Staff very friendly, clean and tidy. My only issue is they advertise that they have a pool and spa but they have shut it down until it can be repaired/renovated. It would have been nice to know before we got there as we had children wanting to swim, that was one of the main reasons for choosing Ika Nui.

The apartment was very well equipped with everything a family may require and the kitchen had microwave, oven , dishwasher and lots of kitchen utensils. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed as a group of five in a 2-Bedroom Deluxe Apartment for two nights during our recent trip to Taupō. While the location was convenient and the apartment had been recently renovated—especially the bathrooms—we were a bit disappointed by a few issues. The master bed was broken, several lights weren't working, and the shower door in the master bathroom didn’t close properly, which caused flooding even with a short shower. That said, the maintenance staff were extremely friendly and responsive, doing their best to help us during our stay.

Good but was expecting better for 2nd visit

2nd time staying. Would have been better if got the top floor instead of ground for the lake front view. Since was ground floor facing road and people walking by in front of window, net curtains would be nice for privacy while still seeing the lake.
