The room was really clean and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The walls were really thin, so if somebody was talking in another room you could hear them and could also hear the communal areas if people were in there. Really convenient location!

Finally a hostel in new zealand that is able to provide the essentials: body wash in the showers, private light and outlet next to each bed, and even a curtain for privacy. A rare gem and the best one I have been to so far. Also really quiet and has a no smoking/vaping policy even in the courtyard
