Location, value for money, and staff were all great. Room location, not so great. Asked for a quiet room….got a room above the bins and loading bay. This meant having staff vaping/smoking/making a racket below the window and somebody emptying out the hotel’s bottles at 3am!! Enough noise to waken the dead.

Room had very comfy beds, pillows and duvets. Clean and tidy with sufficient supplies. Even with all lights on the room was still fairly dim? This air con did keep the room fairly warm but not hot, despite being on the highest setting. But worse is the continuing buzz/hum all night, even wearing earplugs!! I cant sleep with this constant drone and i NEED sleep! Usually travel midweek for work, so rare to find breakfast so busy. And it was a ahambles. Only 1?.staff. Everything was run out, repeatedly! The bacon was hard and dry. No eggs at all. No sign of red/brown, no pots for jams, the 'marmalade' is a disgusting puree of some sorts, but the mixed berry jam.was lovely. Coffee machine barely filled cups half full. Extremely substandard!
