Oak Lodge is on the edge of Exmoor National Park with wide country views.

The Lodge is located in an ideal location for touring in the Exmoor National Park.
It has been adapted to accommodate the partially disabled. It has a ramp up to the front door and everything is on one level. It is suitable for a wheel chair and one of the bathrooms has been converted to a wet room with a disabled toilet.
Perfect for holidays all the year round for parties up to four people.
The lodge is heated by an air source heat pump using underfloor heating.
The bedrooms have zip and link beds so that you can have a super-king sized double or two single beds. Both bedrooms have an en-suite bathrooms and patio doors out on to the patio.
The patio is the length of the lodge and faces south giving views over the neighbouring countryside.
There is a fenced garden area of the patio which is ideal for dogs.
There's a private balcony. A kitchen is outfitted with a refrigerator, an oven, and a stovetop. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and a DVD player is provided for your entertainment. The bathroom has a shower and a hair dryer. Conveniences include a microwave and a coffee/tea maker.
Take in the views from a garden and make use of amenities such as barbecue grills.

What a wonderful time away we had! A great, well-appointed, superbly clean lodge in wonderful surroundings. Clive and Judeth were the perfect hosts. It was so good we were lucky enough to be able to extend our stay. We're looking forward to visiting again.

We had a great stay at oak lodge. We were there because our daughter was attending a field studies trip so we were both working but the excellent wifi, comfortable and well equipped accommodation and fantastic walks right from the doorstep made WFH so much easier.

Starting with a positive the house was very clean on arrival and check in went smoothly. The house is in a lovely location with a beautiful view from the decking behind the lodge. Things started to go wrong when we had a problem with the showers as the heating control did not work meaning the water was too hot to have a shower. I e mailed the owner straight away but did not get a response for over a day so we had no useable showers for 2 days in the middle of a heatwave. Eventually the owner got his sister in law to do a temporary fix on the showers so we had them working for half our stay. We also had a problem with the oven which was not heating up properly and took 3 times the expected time to cook food. Also the 2 frying pans were unuseable as they had lost their non stick properties meaning our food burned. The frying pans were replaced as soon as we reported this which was a relief.

Dream lodge

Would highly recommend the Oak lodge, it is beautiful. Everything you need indoors and in a wonderful setting. Our 10 year loved everything about our stay (especially her own en suite). Cannot wait to visit again soon, hopefully.

Perfect retreat

The cabin was immaculate and set in a beautiful, peaceful location. Owners very helpful and the kids really enjoyed helping out with the animals. Close to many beaches, walks etc. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for the lovely wine and eggs which went down a treat.

Summer Break

We all really enjoyed our stay at the lodge and the accommodation was extremely comfortable and well appointed. The location was so peaceful and was really set in stunning countryside. We had a really friendly welcome from the owners and regular contact making use of their local knowledge of accessible walks etc. located so close to Clatworthy Reservoir was a bonus as we walked this in both directions, however without the dog as they are not allowed. Would highly recommend staying here we had a great time!!!

Lovely property

This place was amazing. It was comfortable, pretty views and nice owners. The horses and pups were an extra treat. This is a place to go to get away from everything!
