This place is beautiful. Friendly staff, delicious food. This is a luxury experience, living among elephants. This property has 24 elephants that are well taken care of; each elephant is handled with care, feed well, washed daily, and treated with dignity. From every room, you can see the elephants. Its such a treat; treat yourself to escape to paradise.

What a great place to stay!

staying at hotel with elephants outside the room??...what could be better. We got to wash and go for a ride in the big swimming area. Not only that, the beautiful animals gave us a quick ride to dinner!

Perfect stay. Wonderful room and staff. They even brought us a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to my husband. All the little touches made it memorable. We enjoyed our stay here very much! It is TOTALLY worth staying here for a day or two. You get first access to saying good morning to the elephants before all the day-trippers arrive, and it's lovely to walk around the park in the evening. We came in Jan/26, so the park was very quiet guest wise. Breakfast and dinners were great (not included for us) and reasonably priced. As for the treatment of the ellies - they are well taken care of and have a much better life than before their arrival to Mason. Please watch the informative video, and talk to the mahouts. They are knowledgable and happy to answer questions! AS OF JAN 25 there are no more elephant rides - which was fine by us!! Just happy to be around such big beautiful gentle creatures.
