You can enjoy your holiday on the nearby sandy beach by the fjord. Swimming, fishing and water sports such as kitesurfing and windsurfing go hand in hand here. If you bring your bikes with you, you can experience the marvellous landscape on bike tours along the shore. Take advantage of the lookout towers from which you can watch birds and enjoy the sweeping views. You can also spend a day at the North Sea and the wide sandy beaches, where you can play, swim and fly kites. In the evenings, you can sit in the dunes and watch beautiful sunsets to round off a perfect day's holiday.

There is a campsite in Skaven whose communal facilities can be used for a fee (information on availability can be found on the campsite website) Outdoor pool, mini golf, pool table, table tennis and much more.
