If one is going to Taranto then I highly recommend staying at Hotel Europa. It is brilliantly placed, has extremely comfortable rooms, an excellent breakfast and the staff go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay.

This hotel is well located close to the bridge between the old and new towns. It offers a great breakfast and spacious rooms. Ours had a view of the Mare piccolo. The very friendly staff helped us with car parking and were very attentive to our needs. We chose Taranto as a base to visit other towns but didn't venture away because we loved spending time here. Restaurants are plentiful and the main shopping strip is a five minute walk away. The museum and the Castle are equally close.

Nulla da dire sull’esperienza presso l’hotel, lo riprenoterei senz’altro, ma alcune note “costruttive” per l’hotel da migliorare (se volete essere 4 stelle). 1)non mi potete offrire al bar il succo di frutta del discount (BRAVO). 2)fate un training per baristi e bariste perché il cappuccino ha la schiuma che non deve essere fatta a palloncini! 3)siamo in Italia, al sud e non avere a colazione un cornetto alla crema e’ scandaloso! 4)La qualità del caffè è migliorabile (oppure vedi punto 2). 5)Il personale alla reception al check-out, se facessero uno o due sorrisi in più, sarebbe sempre apprezzato.
