The airport shuttle service was somewhat concerns to us. When we booked the service in the front desk, the staff requested us to pay for 2 luggage's fees, saying this is based on the hotel policy. We read the policy, it indicates each person allows one luggage for free, but not counting the personal carry-on. My wife and I had "4" luggage: 2 check-in size and 2 small boxes that we carry onto the plan. With a little arguments, we finally given free for bring the carry-on boxes. The experiences was not good.

Bed comfortable Friendly staff Shower had molds in the corners… could use a thorough cleaning Bedroom had a night light under the night stand which could not be turn off. I had to stuff my pillows there so that I could sleep as it was quite bright and I need total darkness when sleeping. There was also a red night light in the entryway that could not be turn off… not as bright as the other one but could not block that one as it was on the ceiling. For me to stay there again the 2 night light issues would need to have a switch to turn off

Airport shuttle is very limited, the first day not able to sign in any , ended up taxi few times and the distance to airport cost local money each trip three hundreds. Also only allow first baggage free , each extra cost $. Better just stay at Hyatt , the fast train even direct from terminal direct to hotel

The hotel overall was good but the breakfast was horrible. All foods that should be hot were barely luke warm. This is surprising for a Holiday Inn property. Although the food was better at the Holiday Inn than the Chinese food at the Sheraton accross the street.

Note: I arrived late and was out out the AM so no chance to explore around the hotel. Hotel, staff, room, breakfast all excellent. Since it’s near TPE, there are some very irritating blue lights just outside the window of the room that if you don’t shut your blinds, the room will be lit up. Better that than a plane flying to low. I assume it is for that.

Our high floor King room was beautiful. Spacious, clean and comfortable. The free shuttle is a little confusing to book. I reserved the free shuttle to AND from the hotel about a week in advance. They did not send any kind of confirmation, nor give information on where to meet the shuttle. And when the time had come, they only booked me for shuttle to the airport. Which was unfortunate because Ubers were $50USD for a 5 min drive.

Staff are very helpful and efficient but most of all the property is clean plus hotel free shuttle to the airport is awesome. Make shuttle booking one day ahead prior to arrival.
