We just completed a N.M. road-trip, where we stayed at (06) different lodging locations. Each was unique n their own way, but were similar in price. The location of each was at top of the list, & "El Pueblo" was walking distance from the plaza (shops, restaurants, tours...). The condition of this lodge & our rooms was great. You could also tell time/ energy was spent on maintaining the grounds/ courtyard. We enjoyed sitting outside on our front AND back porch. We would stay there again & recommend to family/ friends.

Great to stay at a non-chain establishment that went out of their way to make a stay a great experience. From check-in through check-out you felt that the staff were invested in you having a great stay. Ranch style layout and architecture. Large bedroom that had furnishings that matched the character of the area. Best breakfast of AZ/NM road trip with 'local' offerings, particularly the hot items.
