This is a charming hotel with a great view of the sea and a fabulous garden breakfast/lounge area! The breakfast was outstanding ! The hotel receptionist gave us an excellent suggestion for dinner. The only disadvantage of the property is the stairs and difficulty finding the entrance.

Everything about this property is five stars, the staff and service the breakfast the cleanliness, the rooms and the views. The only criticism I have is that the parking is a bit expensive and it’s offsite.

Super Hoel

Antonella, Mateo and Mario were super professional and helpful. They were there whenever we needed a car service, restaurant assistance or tour guide. This hotel is close to town and easy to get to the bus for traveling.Thank you it was an amazing trip and I would recommend this hotel.

Room with a view…

It’s easy to find just steps away from the cable car. It’s inconvenient walking distance to plenty of great restaurants and shops. We had a patio view of the water. That was amazing. Breakfast is very nice even offered champagne.. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic location, everything walkable. Beautiful ‘boutique’ style B&B, super clean rooms with great views, staff very accommodating and excellent continental breakfast including cooked eggs. Would highly recommend for a little oasis in the hubbub of Taormina.

The staff at Hotel Svizzera were very warm and welcoming. They helped us with questions and a kindnesses during the stay. We would stay with them again if ever in the area due to their hospitality and the ease of transport links. We stayed for a week and loved our time there.

We had such a wonderful stay! The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, making us feel truly welcome. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Family vacation in Taormina

The hotel is older and in a great location walking distance to the historic section with a beautiful view. Some rooms have been renovated/updated and though small they were comfortable. The staff is incredible! We were greeted by Antonella who upon registration asked us if we needed help making plans. She arranged a boat and taxi for the next day as well as restaurant recommendations. Others helped with dinner reservations and served a lovely breakfast and happy hour on the terrace overlooking the sea. They also recommended and reserved spots for us at affiliated beach clubs and shuttles to and from there. We had a wonderful 3 days there and are so grateful for the great recommendations and help from the staff!

Not worth the money

The overall experience was both disappointing and underwhelming considering the price tag on the room. Very clean but the bathroom had a bit of mouldy scent. The towels were thin and with poor quality, losing little white bits of thread and cotton all over hair and body. The breakfast was below average with dishes that got cold and no refilling of the food even an hour before breakfast closed, and the morning coffee tasted a bit off. The staff was friendly but not super attentive, the outdoor patio was cute and had a great view but all in all we would not recommend it.

A great historic property, that was tastefully modernized yet maintained the character of its location and origins. Property was a short walk from the bus station and cable cars and an ideal spot for navigating Taormina’s sites and offerings. The staff was friendly and provided a great concierge service recommending and arranging travel, dinner reservations and sites. The morning breakfast was fantastic providing a full fare of local cuisine. The property was relaxing, safe and beautiful…. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the coast. Couldn’t be more pleased with the stay. Definitely would revisit.

The most important from this property is the staff. Mr. Mario was always on top of everything, he is very professional on his duty. Super educated person and very kindly with my kids. His son was super friendly when we arrived late night too and super generous to help with the bags. The last on recepción very kind too and helpful to find me a spot to park calling from her cellphone. The staff for breakfast Ms Sylvia very kind and professional on her job, super friendly and attentive. Mateo also aware of everything. Very pleasant our stay here feels like home. 🏠
