Awful. Wedged a chair for added security. Left as soon as possible and booked a different hotel. The only part of our Tanger experience that was less than amazing.
As an older solo woman traveller, I appreciate helpful and caring staff ready to help in all ways. Delightful budget hotel conveniently located at the Medina's edge with excellent dining options. Love, love this hotel!
Not good for solo female travelers. I was greeted by a male staff which was over familiar, kissed me upon arrival and assumed I wanted to spend time with him at night. I trheaned to report to the police and management didn't offer an apology or any support. Misogyny at its best. And the staff member tried to deny his behaviour when I spoke to him. What a shame. Would definitely not recommend.
Unique because it’s at the city center, horrible because of the city center. People will be talking, driving motorcycles, eating and drinking all night until 3am. And with no ac or wind, the room gets uncomfortably hot to the point we laid on the rooftop to cool down after a long day. We only had hot water, and the bathroom had no exhaust fan so it was always humid. There is NO AC , leaving windows open at night makes it loud but closing it cause the air to become stagnant which doesn’t mix well with the humid bathroom.
There’s no fan in the room either……
This was mid September so I can’t imagine peak summer heat in that room
Outstanding staffduring the day and night! They both helped book a day trip, add additional night and very helpful. The room was grat for the price with a window and private bathroom. Location is excellent and walkable to everything. 12 minute walk to the Ferry station as well.

Decent budget hotel. Very friendly staff. However very noisy. It’s in the center of the Medina and ao you hear all of the yelling and bikes and commotion of the market, well into the night. Facilities were ok, some marks on the wall and a stain or two on the sheets. But for 25€ a night in peak season can’t really complain.
This was a great hotel in a really convenient part of town. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful. The rooftop was beautiful at sunset.
Get some chicken at Ray Charly across the street!
